Dual Display Infotainment System (DDIS)

In a ‘First of its kind’ initiative, VYOMA™ in association with the Indian Railways has created the Dual Display ‘Info-tainment’ System (DDIS). Vyoma has installed the DDIS system in each of the 100 Railway Reservation Counters, spread across 25 locations in and around Bangalore. Outside each counter is a 19” LCD monitor, which is split into 2 layouts. The bottom section of the monitor dynamically displays ticket information, while the top section displays entertainment, informational content, and advertisements. Approximately 1 Lakh (100,000) people spend an average of 15 minutes in an “Un-cluttered and Captive environment” before they book their tickets. In addition, there is a floating population of approximately 5 Lakh people spread across 9 Railway stations who view these screens daily. Clearly, advertisers that purchase Vyoma’s offerings will create terrific visibility for their brand.


GPS / GPRS Based on Board Infotainment System (OBIS)

Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has inducted air conditioned Volvo buses in various routes leading to Tech Parks, Electronic City and other residential areas in Bangalore. Vyoma has designed a GPS / GPRS based system to provide information, news and entertainment to commuters, mostly who are either IT / BT professionals, students, or BPO employees. Each bus has been designed with four 19” LCD monitors (Custom fabricated keeping in mind vibration, safety & aesthetics) in strategic locations, so as to ensure maximum visibility to all commuters. The monitors will display “Entertaining” video content along with Location specific content (Through GPS technology), which will be extremely beneficial to the commuters. For example, when a Bus approaches the Jayanagar Area, details about that specific Bus Stand & Locality will be displayed. Through GSM (GPRS) technology, live text-messages will be streamed on the display. As another example of our offering in this space, Latest Cricket scores, Headlines etc. can be streamed daily for the enjoyment of passengers. The GPS / GSM based ‘On Board Info–Tainment’ System is sure to capture the imagination of the commuters!

GPS based Location Announcement System (LAS)

Vyoma is the first company to install Global Positioning System (GPS) based Location Announcement System (LAS) for the South Western Railways. Multi-colored LED displays, integrated with GPS technology, have been installed in 7 coaches of the Jan-Shatabdi express train. Approximately 8 Lakh people travel in a captive environment on these 7 coaches annually!

Real time information about the location of the train is displayed, followed by advertising messages. BSNL has been an early adopter of this innovative medium provided by Vyoma, and many other advertisers have followed with keen interest.
